The Civil Division maintains all records relating to lawsuits such as personal injury, foreclosures, and business disputes. The Division also records Ohio sales and income tax judgements for public record; issues Certificates of Judgement and subpoenas; and issues all checks for witness fees. All Common Pleas Court documents may be secured at this location.

*Any Common Pleas pleadings filed after 4:00pm or on holidays or weekends can be filed in the Clerk of Courts, Room 112 of the Hamilton County Justice Center, 314 East 9th Street. Pleadings also may be filed via E-Filing. Certain pleadings may be filed by fax without actually bringing the pleading to the Clerk’s office. Faxes may be transmitted seven days a week, 24 hours a day to our fax at (513) 946-5670. Filings that cannot be accepted by fax are those which require a deposit fee and/or require a judge’s signature.
