Municipal Criminal Traffic Division
The Criminal/Traffic Division processes and maintains criminal, traffic, and housing cases in Hamilton County Municipal Court. The Criminal/Traffic Division provides a variety of services to the general public, attorneys, and law enforcement.

Bond Information
All bonds must be posted in person. Bonds may be posted 24 hours a Day, 365 days a year at the Clerk of Courts Municipal Criminal/Traffic Division located on the 1st Floor of the Hamilton County Justice Center, 1000 Sycamore Street.
Bonds payments are accepted in the form of cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Government issued photo identification is required for posting of bond.
Failure to appear at all required appearances may result in forfeiture of bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 2937.35.
Bond refund checks are only issued Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 3:30PM, excluding county holidays, at the Clerk of Courts Office located on the 3rd Floor of the Hamilton County Courthouse, Room 315.

Payments for all misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases can be paid in person or by mail.
Traffic tickets can also be paid at the Clerk of Courts Forest Park Location, which is open Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Symmes Township Location, which is open Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..

Municipal Civil Division
The Municipal Civil Division of the Clerk of Courts office accepts and maintains all civil cases involving dollar amounts up to $15,000. Civil cases include: landlord tenant disputes, personal injury, contract disputes, small claims, evictions, rent escrow, garnishment collections, debtor trusteeships, and appeals to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for 12-point driving suspensions. The Civil Division processes small claims cases up to $6,000.
