Common Pleas includes both a civil and criminal division. Common Pleas civil actions are for disputes that are greater than $15,000. Examples include personal injury suits, foreclosures, business disputes, and tax discrepancies. On the criminal side, Common Pleas handles all felony cases. Arraignments are held in Room 585 of the Hamilton County Justice Center, and bonds may be processed 24/7 on the first floor.
