Voter Registration
Individuals may register to vote, or update their voter registration information, anytime they have a change of address or name at any of the Clerk of Courts' two Auto Title Division Offices:

To qualify to register, or to vote, an individual must meet each of the following requirements:
  1. a United States citizen;
  2. 18 years or older by the general election day; and
  3. a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days.
To vote, an indivdual must be registered to vote for at least 30 days before election day. Additionally, the registration or change must be received or postmarked 30 days prior to the election in which the individual intends to vote. The County Board of Elections provides notification of where to vote.

For citizens who will be unable to go to their polling place on election day, they may request an absentee ballot from the Board of Elections Absentee Ballots and submitting it by mail or fax to the Board of Elections, at the address provided on the form.
